DoBaú arises from the sensitivity and artistic creativity of Quiné Teles, Catarina Silva and Luís Peixoto, recreating some of the many memories of the imagination of our roots music, in the form of songs and spiels by unknown authors. With a handpicked repertoire, the songs and memories are accompanied by traditional Portuguese percussions and chordophones, along with other more unlikely instruments, such as the balafon, lamellophones and loopstation.
