Info

  • The "Parque Urbano de Geão" is located on the site of the former Quinta de Geão, in the Ponte Velha neighborhood of the city of Santo Tirso. This park lies on the banks of the Sanguinhedo River and blends the natural landscape of the river’s riparian gallery, with its flora and fauna, with the vernacular architecture of the Quinta de Geão olive oil mill (now the headquarters of the Association of Friends of the Sanguinhedo) and the mills of Ponte Velha.

    Localização
  • The festival grounds feature several food stands offering a variety of meat-based and vegetarian options.

    Nortada is the official beer of Palheta Bendita 26. The winds from the north, south, east, and west bring music from the four corners of the globe here for you to enjoy at your leisure with this delightful and flavorful beer.

  • Palheta Bendita is a festival that values respect for nature and the environment, and is plastic cup-free. Bring your own cup from home or buy one of our mugs at the venue.

  • Palheta Bendita is a festival that promotes recycling, uses water fountains for drinking, and respects the natural environment in which it takes place. Bring your own mug from home, and if you’re a smoker, don’t forget to bring a pocket ashtray or use the ones scattered around the venue.

  • Palheta Bendita is an inclusive space where people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds are always welcome. We want to emphasize the importance of creating an accessible environment where everyone can participate. Music is a universal language that can bring together cultures, musical traditions, and people from all corners of the world. Palheta Bendita embodies this ideal.

    • by train, getting off at Santo Tirso Station (Guimarães Line), via the Comboios Urbanos, Intercidades, and Alfa Pendular services;
    • or by bus, departing from the Santo Tirso Transport Hub via UNIR-Porto Metropolitan Area, MOBIAVE, AVE Mobilidade, or the Rede Expressos.
  • At the festival, if you’d like information about transportation, the schedule, workshops, or other details, you can visit the stand of the Tirsense Cultural Association (the organizing entity) located next to the Musical Instrument Makers’ Fair. At the same stand, you’ll find some publications and CDs for sale. This is also the meeting point for the various workshops.

  • As a festival sponsored primarily by public entities, Palheta Bendita is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
